Gold

Gold, a sacred offering to the gods for pre-Columbian peoples, was melted in ceramic containers on burners heated by charcoal stirred by tubular blowers. It was processed using lost wax or it was hammered on stone anvils and it was embossed with horn and stone tools or pieces were extracted based on molds made in clay and wax.
